Stroll Our Lobby
Our Grand Lobby's fireplace warmly welcomes guests while beautiful brick walls offer a perfect backdrop for the Bishop Gallery, proudly featuring different artists every month.
Our Gardens are quietly tucked away behind the hotel. Roses, shrubs, vines and tender plants make it a lovely place to catch a glimpse of local hummingbirds, butterflies and the occasional spring fawn.
Bring your canine companion with you, because we love well-behaved dogs! Each room with a four-legged guest receives a Doggie Welcome Basket with plenty of treats, toys and a comfy dog bed so pets feel at home, too.
The Bishop was built in 1890 by William Bishop Sr. upon his retirement in Port Townsend. It was purchased and opened as a hotel by the current ownership in the 1990's.
An Eco-Conscious Time
Energy-efficient lighting, water-saving and paper-reduction programs and more, are part of our daily operation. So, when you come to enjoy the area’s natural beauty, you can be sure we are doing the right thing to care for the environment we share.
